How the Robocash welcome bonus works
Robocash uses the cleanest mechanic in this comparison. Register, invest whatever you intend to invest within the first 30 days, and on day 31 the platform credits 1 per cent of that invested amount to your account as cash. EUR 1,000 invested returns EUR 10. EUR 5,000 returns EUR 50. There is no cap published, no code to enter and no tier table to read.
The distinction that matters: this is a bonus on the amount invested, not an addition to your interest rate. A rate boost of +1 per cent, like Crowdpear's, pays 1 per cent per year and therefore returns a fraction of that over a 90-day window. Robocash's 1 per cent is paid in full, once, on a known date. On a EUR 1,000 portfolio the Robocash version is worth roughly four times the Crowdpear one, despite the identical headline percentage - which is exactly the kind of comparison the bonus comparison table exists to make.
The day-31 payment date is also doing work. It prevents the fastest form of bonus hunting - deposit, claim, withdraw - without imposing the 90-day holds that Mintos and Crowdpear use. Thirty days of your money actually funding loans is the price of the bonus, and it is a fair one.
How to qualify, step by step
Register - there is no code to enter
The welcome bonus applies automatically to qualifying new accounts, so nothing has to be remembered at sign-up. If you were invited by an existing investor, their link does need to be used at registration for the separate referral payment.
Deposit and set auto-invest the same day
The 1 per cent is calculated on what you have invested during the first 30 days, so every day your deposit sits as idle cash is money excluded from the bonus base. Robocash's auto-invest allocates within minutes of funds clearing, which is the reliable way to avoid the gap.
Stay invested through day 30
There is no separate lock-up, but withdrawing the principal before the qualifying period closes reduces the base the bonus is calculated on. Robocash's loans are short - many under 30 days - and reinvestment happens automatically, so this takes no management beyond leaving auto-invest switched on.
Collect on day 31
The bonus is credited as cash to your account balance on day 31. From that point it is yours: withdraw it, or leave it to be reinvested by auto-invest along with the rest of your balance.
What it is worth on EUR 1,000
Ten euros, paid on day 31, no arithmetic required. That puts Robocash mid-table: ahead of every rate-boost offer in our comparison, level with Nectaro's cashback on balance, and behind Hive5 at EUR 20, Indemo at around EUR 40 and Maclear at around EUR 75.
Because the payment scales linearly with no published cap, it is one of the few offers that stays proportionate at larger ticket sizes. An investor putting EUR 10,000 to work in the first month receives EUR 100 - where several competitors would have capped out long before.
Referral and loyalty
The referral programme is the weakest part of the package. Each side receives 0.5 per cent of the friend's investment, capped at EUR 10, and the invited investor must put at least EUR 500 to work for anything to pay out. The cap bites immediately: at EUR 2,000 invested you have already hit the ceiling, so there is no incentive to refer serious investors. Compare that with Lendermarket's ladder, which keeps paying up to EUR 500 per friend, or Crowdpear's uncapped EUR 20 each.
The loyalty programme runs three tiers by portfolio volume, each adding to your interest rate. Robocash does not publish the exact uplifts, which is a transparency mark against it - Crowdpear and Hive5 both publish thresholds and percentages openly. Assume it is worth having if you build a large portfolio, and do not plan around a number you cannot verify.
Conditions worth reading twice
- Day 30 is the deadline, day 31 is the payday. Only investments made inside the first 30 days count towards the 1 per cent.
- Invested, not deposited. Money that arrives on day 28 but is not allocated to loans until day 32 earns nothing.
- Auto-invest is the safe route. Setting it up on the day your deposit clears removes the risk of cash sitting idle through the qualifying window.
- The referral cap is EUR 10 per friend, reached at EUR 2,000 of the friend's investment - referring a large investor pays exactly the same as referring a EUR 2,000 one.
- Loyalty tier uplifts are not published. Ask support for the current table before assuming a number.
Is the bonus a reason to invest?
The bonus is fine. The platform is the question. Robocash scores 3.6 stars and the single biggest deduction is regulatory: the group operates without an ECSP or MiFID licence, so there is no supervised investment firm standing between you and the loan originators, and no investor compensation scheme of any kind. The counterweight is a genuinely vertically integrated group - Robocash funds loans issued by its own lending companies rather than third-party originators, which removes the counterparty layer that hurt investors at several marketplace platforms.
That is the trade: better alignment, no supervision. A EUR 10 bonus does not shift it in either direction. If the structure suits you, take the bonus - it is automatic and costs nothing. If you want a licence behind your money, Mintos at 4.4 stars and InRento at 4.5 are the platforms to compare against, and both pay less. Full detail in the Robocash review.
